It's week 4 and we currently have 6 teams tied with 3-1 win-loss records (Klunebergs, Green Velvet Recliners, Yobogoya, My Naginta Naginta, Kiegl Titans and Iron Thighs).
Down at the bottom of the leaderboard....I just googled "what is the opposite of undefeated", I guess there isn't really a word for it. So we'll go with this: We have 3 teams of perpetual losers who still haven't won a game (Travelling Panty Droppers, Offinthewoods, Wrong Turn). Ouch guys, get your shit together!
Despite a tough loss to Canning Queen, the Klunebergs retain their #1 spot with a total of 458.4 points scored so far this season. This brings the Canning Queen up to a 2-2 record and 8th place. Phillip Rivers seems to be hitting his stride, is the Queen hitting hers?
The Green Velvet Recliners brought down the Hart reign of terror and bumped Yobogoya from her #2 spot, beating her 124.52 to 90.58. It wasn't that Yobogoya had a terrible week. More that the Green Velvet Recliners got Andrew Luck(y) for 29.62 points and had solid performances from the rest of my lineup.
Your Wife My Kids beat Offinthewoods this week. Apparently you don't
have to be an old married couple for things to slow down at home. I
think Offinthewoods is losing on purpose, just so I can make this joke
every week. Thanks!
There is no dressing this one up. Wrong Turn got screwed by Tom Brady - 2.36 points?! That's tough, especially since she only lost to My Naginta Naginta by 13.62 points, easily a number Brady should've been able to make up. Although My Naginta had strong performances from QB, RB, and DEF positions. That's My Naginta! Sexy Naginta!
Despite a pitiful 2.90 points from Nick Foles, the Kiegl Titans turned The Legend into an adorable Fairy Tale and knocked him down 4 places to 7th. For this week the Titans have made some serious lineup changes, if it worked last week, why change it so much? Is it like the Duck uniforms? Wear it once and throw it out? All you need now is some fancy feathers on your shoulders!
Congratulations to Iron Thighs for getting the top score of the week and the season. 149.18, that's impressive, but there is no way he can sustain those kind of numbers. Right? The Traveling Panty Droppers continue to give it away, she scored 46% of Iron's totals. Alright honey, its time for a pep talk. Quit dropping your drawers, it's littering. Come on, come on! You did so good last year...Feel it, Feel it! It's about that time to bring forth the rhythm and the rhyme! Oh wait...does that even count as a pep talk?
Coming up this week is a rough time in the Your Wife My Kids/Canning Queen household. I hope you two are betting something awesome on the outcome of this week's match. Let us know what it is!
I know three of you who had team names assigned by me. Do you really love your team name that much? I'm creative, but I suck at coming up with team names. Anybody have any suggestions for a good Ragnar name? Also, anyone want to run in it?? I've got a team going I just need to fill it up with runners...and I've got a few spots left! Wait...focus...my orignal point: you can totally change your team name to something you'd love and are willing to have tattooed on your ass. Just sayin'.
Much Love!

Leonard's League 14/15 - Week Three
How is everyone this week? After the Hawks/Broncos game Sunday night, I'm still a bit tense. I'm a fan of both teams, and I would have loved for Sunday's game to have been last year's Championship...alas we got a boring runaway of a Big Game and a nail biter on Sunday night. It was still a kick-ass game and its awesome to see the Hawks come out on top. AGAIN.
Wrong Turn is still a little lost but she seems to be getting her bearings. Her last minute add of Cody Parkey worked out well for her, 15 points from a kicker...you can never have too many kickers. Despite her improved performance she lost this week by 3 points to Yobogoya. Rashad Jenning's performance (23.60 points) provided Yobogoya with the tasty brown treat she needed to secure the win.
This week the Klunebergs beat offinthewoods. What's wrong gentlemen, are the wives slacking in their marital duties? The Klunebergs scored an impressive 139.84 points, with 6 of his players scoring over 17 points. Wow. Unfortunately for offinthewoods Ryan Matthews left his game with a sprained MCL - which meant a giant 0 on the board, and a solid 15 points left on the bench with Reggie Bush. If its any consolation, at least you didn't stand a chance!
At 7:45am on Sunday, the Green Velvet Recliners (and My Naginta Naginta) were on their way to the Beat the Blerch 10k. At 8:30am Bernard Peirce's status was updated to inactive. The 10k was awesome - easily the best organized race I've been a part of, but, Pierce's status change went unnoticed until I was done running and his game was in it's third quarter. Damn. In all fairness a similar thing happened to Your Wife My Kids with Roddy White. Regardless, the Recliners pulled out the W!
The Kiegl Titans had a disappointing Thursday night with B.Rainey forgetting to use his brain and fumbling twice. He ended up with 6.50 points but at one point had -0.90. The Titans needed to tighten up for the rest of the week, and unfortunately for My Naginta - they did. Unlike the Ducks, at least the Titans won this one fair and square, my Naginta had the low score of the week with 56.08 total points.
The Traveling Panty Droppers dropped another round, this time to The Legend and she has traveled all the way to the bottom of leaderboard. This makes last year's champion 0-3, and her GOAT title is in serious jeopardy. The Legend has sneakily worked his way up to third place in the league - who invited this guy?
Iron Thighs mastered the Canning Queen in Week 3. Both DeMarco Murray and Knile Davis (Iron Thighs' RBs) had performances for Suzanne Somers to be proud of with two easy payments of 17.10 and 17.20. The Canning Queen needs to take things Step by Step and look at beefing up her WR lineup. Watkins, Welker, and Wayne - these three don't seem to be good company for the Queen.
The Hart Household is currently undefeated. Yobogoya and The Klunebergs are on top of the standings. We'll see if that holds up through week 4...I go up against Yobogoya so I'm thinking not.

Leonard's League 14/15 - Week Two
Leonard's League Week Two
Wrong Turn suffered another loss, this time to the Green Velvet Recliners. The Green Velvet Recliner's gambled on replacing Jordan Cameron (who as of Saturday evening was still up in the air on whether or not he'd play) with Delanie Walker which ended up being a great call as Walker scored 20 points. Tom Brady's continued poor fantasy performance could end up being a real problem for Wrong Turn.
Keigl Titans fell to Yobogoya in the closest match of the week. Both teams had a player injured mid-game so that didn't help either of them, but at least it was even? Not much consolation there, it sucks to see somebody get hurt on the field.
The Traveling Panty Droppers lost to My Naginta Naginta. My Naginta Naginta scored almost double what the Panty's put on the board with a ridiculous 34.20 points from the Bills Defense. Come on Panties...don't live up to your team name, make us work for it! You have a trophy to defend.
The Canning Queen has recovered nicely from the loss of Wes Welker (I'm still mourning), she beat the Legend and boasts the highest score of the week, even with the sad performance by the Hawks Defense pulling her down. Well done, Chica! The Legend still looked pretty good, and facing almost any other opponent this week he would have won. Bummer.
The Klunebergs dominated again this week, showing up Your Wife My Kids in an odd match with very disappointing performances on both sides (Pierre Garcon and RGIII), interestingly enough RGIII's injury contributed to Garcon's sub-par performance...How's that for a fantasy twist?
Iron Thighs beat Offinthewoods ;) Say it out loud - we're all adults here. Despite Iron Thigh's first win, this was still the lowest scoring match of the week, and Offinthewoods' WRs boasted a combined total of zero. This is the first public shaming for an incomplete lineup. CHECK YOUR TEAMS people!
The defensive change this year that allows points for a punt return is turning out to be quite the difference maker. 5 defenses scored over 15 points this week, and 3 of them scored over 20 so make sure and watch your D...because this year it matters.
Here is the link to the leaderboard - go check it out!
Hopefully this next week will be one where the sportscasters are talking about sports...not scandals.
Much Love,
Kiki
